This section forms part of the pre-application planning process to provide the public with the opportunity to find out more about the proposals.
The Applicant prepared a planning application for partial use of agricultural land to accommodate a rifle range and facilities building at the site. A Proposal of Application Notice was submitted to Dumfries and Galloway Council on 18th May 2021 (Ref: P/21/0184/PAN) and the planning application has been submitted in October 2022
The live online consultation event took place on Thursday the 3rd of March 2022 between 3pm and 7pm. This event provided an opportunity to review the proposals and submit their further comments, until the 25th of March 2022.
A live online text chat facility was available to use between 3pm and 7pm on Thursday the 3rd of March 2022 and members of the project team answered questions regarding the proposals.
The Applicant launched this website to provide information and to host a live, online consultation event.
